Locally grown flowers are a truly special way to bring your wedding decor to life. As farmer-florists, we offer seasonal flowers and foliage the vast majority of which we grow on our farm. We’re inspired by natural landscapes, garden-style design, and the couples we work with. Please keep in mind that our flowers are subject to availability at the time of your wedding. This allows us to create with the highest quality ecologically grown flowers hand-harvested at their peak. We offer:
Available from June to September. We offer bunches or buckets of fresh-cut flowers and foliage for DIY weddings. The bulk flower options are available for pick-up or delivery. Having flexibility and being open to colour palettes and variety of flowers is important when considering the DIY option.
A LA CARTE
Available from June to September. Our a la carte option is for those looking for a select number of arrangements such as the bridal bouquet and boutonnieres. This can be combined with the bulk blooms option, so that we design key elements while you create others.
Available from June to September. We will work with you to create inspired custom florals for your wedding day. We can grow custom flowers and arrange floral designs that reflect your vision. Our service includes set up of all your wedding flowers.
Why choose locally grown for your wedding flowers?
Over 80% of cut-flowers are imported in Canada and varieties are chosen based on how well they hold up during transport. In contrast, locally grown flowers offer incredible diversity in colour, texture, fragrance and feel, and are usually cut 24 hours before the wedding.
Support small-scale farmers
By choosing wedding flowers from a farmer-florist, you are supporting small-scale regenerative agriculture while keeping your dollars circulating in the local economy.
We grow flowers and foliage alongside our organic vegetables without the use of pesticides or synthetic fertilizers. The flower field is a safe home to an abundance of life and provides food for pollinators.
The floral industry is notorious for its overuse of plastics that mostly end up in landfills or in waterways to the detriment of marine life. We never use floral foam or plastic sleeves, and aim to reduce our waste as much as possible.
